FAQ - Frequently answered questions

What is Specialty Coffee?

Specialty coffee refers to the highest grade of coffee available, grown in ideal climates, carefully harvested, and expertly roasted to highlight the bean’s unique characteristics. It is graded 80 points or above on a 100-point scale by certified coffee tasters (SCA - Specialty Coffee Association) and represents only a small percentage of the world’s coffee production.

What makes specialty coffee different from regular coffee?

Specialty coffee is all about quality over quantity. You get beans grown, picked, and roasted with extra care, so the flavour is cleaner, brighter, and more expressive. We also focus on ethical sourcing and small-batch roasting, and we try to work with farms that empower women along the way. Better coffee, better story
